The making of:
After a reworking of fragrance La Petite Robe Noire, Guerlain has teamed up with French artists Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas for an animated advertising campaign bringing the classic little black dress to life.
Their animated campaign hit TV and cinema screens
internationally in the second half of 2012.
Contrasting to the trend for perfume campaigns
starring big name celebrities à la J'adore by Christian
Dior starring Charlize Theron,
Guerlain has opted for something different with the animated route, in a charming and lively sketchy style.
The animated ad version was awarded 'favorite TV ad' in France for the year 2012, according to Ipsos Advertising Research Institute (26th Ipsos annual advertising ranking, April 2013).

Kuntzel and Deygas are celebrated for their
graphic creations, having previously teamed up with brands including Comme des
